As well as knitting, another feature of the first couple of weeks in February was the snow and ice!
4th February - Frozen Meare at Thorpeness
5th February - Red letter day?
5th Feb - More red from the berries
5th Feb - I still get excited by squirrels!
5th Feb - Snowy Christchurch Park
6th February - Cold Deben river
7th February - a forlorn boat
11th Feb - Still too frozen for sculling
12th February - just a bit of snow on the edges
12th Feb - A very confident or fool hardy kayaker

You’re such a talented photographer. I love the one of the squirrel. And it’s great to see Christchurch Park in the snow – I used to go there a lot as a kid. 🙂

Thanks! It was fun seeing the park in the snow, soo many people were there sledding on the hills. The scene could have come out of a Victorian painting, except for the neon plastic sleds, there was even a boy wandering round with skis over his shoulder!

Great set of photos: the red berries against the snow is quite pretty; love that squirrel posing too.
